Paint Everything | See the Extraordinary in the Ordinary
From the light on a beautiful face to a glowing still life, in this class we learn to see and paint the subtle beauty of everyday life. Each week Dominique demos and narrates her process step by step—covering composition, values, color choices, and texture—while working from a variety of sources, such as everyday objects, photos, master paintings. We are encouraged to explore, still life, landscape, portrait, figure and more. Our goal is to see the magic in our everyday movements and actions. There is a something beautiful to be seen in everything we encounter.
Critiques: One of the most valuable parts of a live class is hearing the instructor provide feedback to each student. Dominique's goal for this online course is to recreate that experience through weekly group critiques. These critiques are a great opportunity to learn—not just from feedback on your own work, but by observing critiques of others as well.
